Background Check Information for Volunteers

The NCLA has many opportunities available to volunteer.  Because of the possibility of student contact some assignments may require you to complete a background check.  This is for the safety of both our students and staff.  Instructions for completing your background check can be found below.  If this will be your first background check for The NCLA please download the document titled "New".  If you had a background check last year for The NCLA then you need to download the document titled, "Returning".  You will also need to print and sign the confidentiality agreement and turn in to the front office.  The NCLA Board of Trustees requires that a new background check and confidentiality agreement be submitted at the beginning of each school year.

The NCLA has established volunteer levels to ensure the safety and security of our students.

All volunteers will automatically be entered at this level.
