WOW...A big congrats to The NCLA middle school wrestling team. The team went Beast Mode and won state! Who could have predicted that in less than 4 months of its existence they would be crowned state champs...AMAZING. A huge thank you to Coach Nicoletta, Coach Steve, and his staff!

MS/HS TRACK INFORMATION
We are so excited to begin our second year of Track & Field at The NCLA. We are especially glad that you have decided to share in this new tradition and look forward to a great season!
If you haven't registered yet, but are interested in doing so, you can still sign up at the following links: MS Track or HS Track. In addition, necessary athletic paperwork can be found at this link. ALL forms are required to be filled out and turned in by our first practice date.
Our first practice will be Tuesday, March 1st, directly after school and will last until 4:30PM. Subsequent practices will be every day from dismissal until 4:30PM. For the first practice, please bring a change of athletic clothes and a water bottle!
Meets this season will take place at the High Point Athletic Complex at 2920 School Park Road, and are scheduled for March 8, March 14, March 21, April 6, April 15, April 22, and April 27. More information about additional (including grades, meets, parent transportation, etc.) requirements will be provided at our first practice!

HS GIRLS Soccer Sign-up:
Hello Parents and Students!
My name is Ms. Teves, and I am happy to say that I will be coaching the NCLA's high school girl's soccer team this year. I myself played soccer from 1st-12th grade, and only stopped to pursue a collegiate career for lacrosse. That being said, I am extremely grateful to be back around my first loved sport!

In addition, necessary athletic paperwork can be found at this link. ALL forms are required to be filled out and turned in by our first tryout date.
Our tryouts will begin on May7th, and conclude on May 9th. Tryouts will be held from 3:30-5pm. Subsequent practices will be every day from dismissal until 5PM. For the first practice, please bring a change of athletic clothes (including shin-guards and cleats) and a water bottle!
All practices and home games will be held at Phillips Park 550 Hedgecock Rd. High Point, NC 27284. This being said, all players are responsible for getting to and from practices and games.

Final Cut Tryouts will be held Tuesday February 16th at 4pm and Wednesday February 17th at 4pm at Kernersville Little League - 9217 County Line Rd, Kernersville, NC 27284. Please note that these two dates are mandatory. No boy will make the team that does not attend both evaluations.

MS SOFTBALL TRYOUT INFORMATION:

The girls had a great first workout. Looking forward to having the other girls join us when their current sport has ended at school. I'll be updating everyone with these emails. Our schedule of practices and games are on The NCLA website. Here is the link http://www.thencla.org/p/
Our tryout dates are FEB 16 and 18 at 3:15 at the Radar Base. Note: Forsyth County Parks and Rec will not let anybody reserve the field until Feb 15 (holiday). I'm planning on calling on Feb 16 and reserve it for that day and Feb 18. I'll also ask about our practice dates as well. I highly doubt that 2 fields can be rented out at 3:15 but I could be wrong. We need to have practices at the Radar Base too because our muddy field will not cut it!
We will meet in the breezeway for workouts until tryouts. Workouts are Tuesday's and Thursday's until Feb 16.
