Calling all 7th - 11th Graders!

Do you love cameras, talking to people, editing video, mixing sound, leading a team, keeping a team organized and on task or maybe even graphic design? If any of those sound good to you, The Falcon News Club (FNC) may be just for you!

The FNC is designed to give students an opportunity to become more familiar with a television news production. The club will post news packages, stories, and newscasts written and produced throughout the school year.

Interest Meeting at 3:15pm on Thursday January 21, 2016 in the Computer Lab

Students will have the opportunity to:

Learn to work on a team.
Use and learn online programs & apps.
Use and learn camera/video skills.
Create awesome productions that may be shown to the student body on a regular basis!

The FNC will meet on Wednesdays from 3:00pm - 5:00pm in the computer lab

Members are expected to:

Be a LEADER
Always be on time for meetings
Do his/her best on a given task
Always treat computers, equipment and team members with respect
Have a positive attitude and be willing to learn

Requirements:

Completed parent photo consent form
Completed student application

Applications must be turned in by February 1st for consideration

students must be logged into their school account to view and complete application

Divisional Playoffs: Panther vs. Seattle, Raffle Sponsored by The Boosters!

First, off thank you. In less than two days The NCLA family has made this fundraiser profitable. Please continue to support The NCLA Athletic program and its future by participating in this event.

The Boosters have purchased two tickets to the Divisional Playoff game, Panthers vs. Seattle, and are raffling them off for $25.00 dollars. To purchase your raffle ticket contact Mr. Lake at klake@thencla.org and have a check written to The NCLA Boosters for $25.00 dollars. You can drop off a check with your cell number to the front office, just make sure to tell the front office staff to put it in Mr. Lake's mail box. Also, Mr. Lake and some helpers will be selling these tickets during pick up between 2:30pm and 3:15pm. Make your checks out early. Upon payment your raffle ticket with your name and telephone number will placed on a ticket and if drawn the Boosters will call you with the good news.

That is correct, a mere $25.00 dollars buys you and a peer an opportunity to go to the Divisional Playoff game and support The NCLA and it's mission!

The drawing will occur on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 12:35 PM during High School lunch.
Once again don't miss this opportunity to support the Panthers and The NCLA it is truly a win win.

Middle School Softball and Baseball Interest Meeting

Attention to all middle school parents and students!

Based on the responses for the interest form that was sent out. The NCLA Boosters feel as if we might have enough interest to field both a Middle School Softball team and a Middle School Baseball team. Unfortunately, there was not enough interest in High School for either sport.

Now, we face logistical and financial concerns and need your input and help, if we are able to move forward. The NCLA Boosters will be having an interest/informational meeting on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 starting at 6:30 PM in the Multi-Purpose Room. If you have any questions please contact Mr. Lake at klake@thencla.org.

Slots are first come, first serve. Reminders for who is signed up for what slot will be sent out weekly as part of the athletic calendar email, if you list your email address in the SpreadSheet.

To sign up for slots click on the link or links below that apply to you. Please volunteer by selecting one of the teams below and then enter in the requested data.
