Link your Harris Teeter Vic Card

It is time to re-link your Harris Teeter vic card to The NCLA.  It is super easy.  When you are in the store at check out or customer service, ask to have your account linked to our school.  

It is The NCLA or use our school number 1984!  This is an easy way to support our school! 

Open Booster Meeting

Parents, The NCLA Boosters are having an open meeting on Thursday, August 13 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  We will meet in Mr. Bay's room. The Boosters need more personal and input from parents who have student athletes at The NCLA. Please come and help us create an outstanding Athletic Program at The NCLA.

Reminder: THE NCLA 2015 MS & HS VOLLEYBALL TRYOUTS

Players must make 2 out of the 3 tryouts to be eligible for the team.  Here are the days/dates & times, also please see the school calendar on the website for the most current update Information, click here:

8/6 Thurs 5:30pm-6:30pm

8/7 Fri 6:30pm-7:30pm

MS & HS

8/8 Sat 9:30am-11:00am

HS

8/10 Mon 4:30pm-5:45pm

8/11 Tues 4:30pm-6:00pm

Due to trying our best to accommodate everyone during their summer schedule, MS & HS tryouts are interchangeable.  With that being said, it will be Wednesday, August 12, at the earliest and Saturday, August 15th at the latest when players will be notified for MS & HS as to whether or not they made the team.

Calculators for grades 3 through 6

 Greetings 3rd through 6th grade parents:

Many of our local school supply stores do not stock the TI-15 calculators in store.  They are available online (amazon.com, Walmart.com, staples.com, etc.), often with free shipping.

For those parents who would prefer to purchase a TI-15 calculator in person, we have ordered 100 TI-15 calculators and will have them available for sale at Open House for $15.00.

Coffee with the Principal - Thursday, August 13

One of my main goals as principal is to provide open communication between The North Carolina Leadership Academy and the community we serve. Coffee with the Principal is a time when all of our parents can express their concerns, ask questions, and be informed of initiatives or happenings on our campus.   The first one will be on Thursday, August 13  from 8:30 to 10:00 am in the multipurpose room.
